This is a 2 Dimensional "Karyotype"-like representation of the GC-content of the 23 human chromosomes. The lighter the colour, the higher the GC content.

Data was obtained from the HG38 release of the Human Genome and downloaded from the University of California's (UCSC) Genome Browser data.



Here are the same chromosomes but with the gene expression barcodes values for all the genes superimposed with colors representing the expression (0-1) of the genes in colon cancer.



Using the same technique, I have generated the Human X-Chromosome with different genes indicated as colored regions on the surface of the GC-content of the chromosome.
